Nkhankanka<\/strong> (Crested Guinea Fowl in siSwati<\/strong><\/em>) is a charming lodge, privately situated along the peaceful Mlawula River and surrounded by magnificent, hundreds of years old Leadwood trees. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

Nkhankanka Lodge<\/strong> offers exclusive, air-conditioned accommodation for up to eight guests in four bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Two bedrooms in the main house (ideal for families with children) and two specious bedrooms few meters away over your private bridge, each with its own river or bush view and sliding doors to enjoy the peace and beauty of the bush directly from the privacy of your room.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

The lodge is fully equipped for self-catering with a main living area including kitchen, a lounge with cozy sofas and uncapped, fast FREE Starlink WiFi<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

Starlink WiFi is available in and around the main lodge – including the lounge \/ kitchen, bedrooms, on the veranda, around the fire place, in the pool area and on the deck.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

The kitchen offers everything you need – a stove, microwave, fridge-freezer, kettle, toaster, gas skottle braai, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, etc.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

The Mbuluzi Game Reserve is bound by the beautiful Mbuluzi River and the Lubombo mountain range in the east and boasts a remarkable diversity of habitat. Flora includes the massive riverine forests with towering sycamore figs and wild date palms, rocky cliffs, knobthorn savannah, acacia bushveld and open grasslands.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

More than 300 species of birds have been recorded in Mbuluzi, including rarities such as Crested Guineafowl, Pearl-spotted Owlet, African Finfoot and Crowned Eagles.
Many animal species including Giraffe, Zebra, Nyala, Bushbuck, Wildebeest, Kudu, Waterbuck and Crocodile and of course Impala and Warthog can be seen in the Game Reserve as well as near the lodge. Bushbaby and Hyenas are often heard and leopards also occur.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

At an altitude between 150 and 460 meters, and only 70 kilometers from the Mozambique coast, the climate is typical for the bushveld of the Eastern Seaboard – warm during the day, with pleasant cool sea breezes in the evenings.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>
